Ancient Oak Cellars is a family winery with an urban tasting room in downtown Santa Rosa, Calfornia. The winery grows grapes on three estate vineyards in Sonoma County: Pinot Noir on their estate vineyard, Siebert Ranch, in the Russian River Valley, Zinfandel on the Pagnano Vineyard, in the Russian River Valley, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc on the Berger Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. Ancient Oak Cellars also offers Russian River Valley Chardonnay.
Ken and Melissa Moholt-Siebert are third generation farmers of the estate vineyard and are occasionally assisted by their children, the fourth generation. Greg LaFollette, an esteemed winemaker and viticulturis, is Ancient Oak Cellars’ winemaker. He says, “Melissa and Ken are living the dream that I strive to live: a family winery, raising one’s kids in one’s own vineyard, and celebrating life with wonderful long-time friends and family. I am thrilled to be making wine in partnership with Melissa and Ken. There is nothing like small family winery stewardship to bring great wines to the table.”
