Join Our Exploration

We recognize that the press, trade and public are intrigued by our exploration.  While our blind tastings are conducted by an industry tasting panel we invite the public to join our exploration through one or more of our public events.  Or, you can conduct your own exploration by identifying wines made from vineyard sources throughout the Russian River Valley and conducting your own tasting.

Quotes from Single Vineyard Night Sommelier Seminar – Nov. 2015, San Francisco

  • “Learning how the wines were separated by neighborhood helped me to gain a better understanding of the Russian River AVA.”
  • “I can see the unique aspects of each of the “neighborhoods” in the wines.”
  • “When I write a wine list now, I will be thinking about whether or not all the neighborhoods are being represented so I have a broad palate of styles to pair.”
  • “I don’t care if you ever show this to the public, it’s an incredibly strong tool for me to use in understanding the RRV.”
  • “I am convinced that it is through the efforts of people and organizations like you that historic developments are even articulated. Theses developments then become known, documented, experienced in the collective, and ultimately their causes advanced. If I came to wine on my own terms, I have stayed in wine because of the intelligence, passion, commitment, and extraordinariness of the people who make up the industry. Thank you for your role in showcasing, and giving a place, to this.”
